The band has played extensively in and around the New England/NYC area and completed their first Northeastern US/Canada tour in summer of 2019. In March 2020, their second and largest tour of the East Coast (US) was cut short due to COVID-19. The band was supposed to make their debut in Austin Texas at the famous indie music festival SXSW.
Laveda has earned praise early in their career from notable blogs such as Pitchfork (Elia Einhorn from Fashion Brigade & The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir), David Dean Burkhart, CLOUT, Fadeawayradiate, Various Small Flames (UK) and more. Most recently, NPR Music highlighted the band as one of their Top Shelf picks for the 2020 Tiny Desk Contest. Laveda's newest song 'Cut Sleeves' released on their Audiotree Live session on October 20th. Their Debut Album "What Happens After" is out on vinyl and available on all streaming platforms.
