Beth Wood is a master of many things. She’s a sensational singer, a prolific songwriter, and an inspired poet, but perhaps the most striking thing about this multi-talented artist is her innate ability to connect with an audience.
To listen to one of her songs is to be taken on a road we’ve all traveled before – whether it’s being deluged with memories from which there’s no escape, aching for freedom in a relationship that’s run its course, or bravely striking out on our own path despite head-shaking from others.
Her own experiences were the basis for her 11th album, The Long Road, a project that once again paired Wood with Tyler Fortier (who also produced Wood’s Some Times Love and Spring Tide albums). The album came from a time of deep change in her own life, and once again, she’s crafted a collection of stories that will have listeners nodding in agreement, feeling, healing, and standing back up again right beside her.
Beth has released 11 albums and two books of poetry. She has won countless awards for songwriting and has toured the country delighting and inspiring audiences with her exceptional musicianship, intelligent songwriting, powerhouse voice, and warm and commanding stage presence. Her musical philosophy is that there are no wrong notes.
