For Psychic Arm, the recording of the album was only 2/3 of the job, months were spent mixing. The mastering was done by Brian Lucey (Depeche Mode and Arctic Monkeys) and the vinyl lacquer cut by Paul Gold (LCD Soundsystem, Animal Collective) Cover design by Metric Design (which also are behind Norway's bank notes!) based on the photo artist Lucas Zimmerman's "Traffic Lights" series.
What about the music? How does it sound? "You sound like Talking Heads meet Sonic Youth in a dark club with Grace Jones as a guest vocalist" someone has said about the band and it's pretty precise. "A tribute to the 80's blackest channels, carried out with precision and consideration" wrote Morgenbladet's Ando Woltmann. We add some Fleetwood Mac "Tango in the Night" something NEU! some epic movie score and feel like we are approaching, but this really doesn't sound like much else than Psychic Arm. This is a record you MUST hear. Turn off the lights, turn up the volume (or put on headphones) for the optimum suggestive music experience!
