Lani Renaldo is an American singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, California. With multicultural roots, planted in Mississippi blues and Detroit soul, Lani lyrical and eclectic sound pulls influence from Motown classics and soulful artists, like Alabama Shakes, John Mayer, Bonnie Raitt, and Carole King.
Her musical career started at 13 when she penned her first song. This song quickly turned into a catalogue of well over 100 songs. In 2012, Lani was one of 31 students nationwide chosen to attend the GRAMMY Foundation’s GRAMMY Camp New York. Since then, Lani has had the opportunity to grow as a musician. Comfortable on guitar as well as drums, Lani secured an endorsement from the Roland Company and appeared alongside Alessia Cara at the 2015 American Music Awards. She recently opened for Halsey on July 15th, 2016 on the Los Angeles leg of the Badlands tour. Her debut EP, "Sophomore Season" is available everywhere now.
