Best Brazilian Popular Music Album of 2019 nominée at the 20th Latin Grammy, born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, singer/songwriter/pianist Delia Fischer has embarked in a new career adventure.
A sharply tuned voice blended with a personal and exquisite timbre shapes the songs of her new álbum "Tempo Minimo", which explores her emotional and musical history. Having started her career as popular and jazz pianist and arranger in Brazil, she went on to become music director of award winning musicals dedicated to Elis Regina, The Beatles and Milton Nascimento. In 2018 she won Best Latin Song and Vox Pop at the 16th Independent Music Award in New York and in 2019 she received 5 stars by Downbeat Magazine. She has been touring venues such as Blue Note Rio, JazzB São Paulo, Jazzkeller Frankfurt and MIMO Festival in Portugal, among other clubs in Germany and Italy, where her post-bossanova sound finds new listeners and fans.
