YungStone born the 4th day of September 1994; was raised by his great grandmother along with his 2 younger brothers and 2 older sisters.
From a young age it was very obvious music was his passion and destiny. At 5 years old YungStone joined the church choir, to which he grew a strong affection for music. It was this fondness for music that propelled him to write some of his songs. His initial aspirations where to be a singer; but things suddenly changed as the hardship and struggles that life brings to a toll on his family. In an effort to keep her family together YungStone’s grandmother was forced to move to low income housing aka “The Projects”. Once here YungStone begin to witness and see a side of life that was foreign to him; a side of life that would become common. In is words "There were literally body's dropping on the daily in the hood where I from. At times it was very scary, grandma could only do so much to protect us. Before you knew it me and my brothers were idolizing the street life, and I myself start idolizing street rappers". At a young age YungStone begin to grow a strong fondness for the rap music as it spoke to him directly. From then on YungStone shifted his focus from singing to the hip hop culture and specifically rap.
