Paulsberg started out his career at twelve making hip-hop beats for local acts. He soon got absorbed by the underground techno scene and with a couple of likeminded techno-teens he started the club concept Nabovarsel.
«We used to arrange club nights at friends houses and in underground bomb shelters around town. After a while the police got on to us and put a stop on our bomb shelter rendezvous.»
Later they would become of age and start throwing legendary club nights at the art gallery venue Landmark.
«In the late 00s I was playing and producing techno and electro music. At the time, it seemed like this style of music was grinding to a halt, and so I started making music without the restraints of what might work in a club. However, most of the tools and techniques were the same as when producing techno. This mix laid the aesthetic grounds of PYHUFNT music.»
Fusing his hip-hop and techno background with his love for Italian soundtracks from the 70’s, Brazilian artists such as Milton Nascimento and library music, Paulsberg has created a unique experience.
Debut album to be released in 2019 on Blanca Records.
