Born in Baltimore, MD and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, Tris began his career in the music industry as a drummer/vocalist playing for bands throughout the East Coast in the 90’s. After years of sitting behind a drum kit, Katone resurfaced in the music world in 1998 as a solo artist and has released eight self-produced albums, including his 1999 debut album, Committing Suicide, The Next Devil (2000), Plastic Udder (2001), Erotic Crystallization Inertia (2003), Kat O’ Nine Tales (2010), Digital Warlock (2016), Combination of Sins (2018) and Super Kooker (2019).
Tris Katone's musical influences are worn well upon his sleeve and at first listen his music is poetic, deep, honest, raw, and nasty. All the things rock n’ roll should be.
