Singer, pianist, songwriter, arranger, producer: Robert Mosci has an innate musicality; his artistry as composer and lyricist is more than matched by his engaging performance dynamics.
Born in New York City, Robert mastered an eclectic array of instruments and musical styles by his teens, playing classical bassoon with several orchestras (including performances with Stokowski and Ormandy), and performed as a keyboard player, blues harpist, and singer with local NYC bands.
Studying jazz and popular music at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, he honed his skills as a pianist and added saxophone to his instrumental credits.
Back in New York, he played regularly on the Greenwich Village club scene. He began performing at many of the city’s nightspots, and became the resident musician for 15 years at the Beekman Tower’s famed art-deco room, the Top Of The Tower.
Robert has composed and recorded several sports music themes, including a theme purchased by a major New York baseball franchise.
