Teddy Sinclair fronts the 3 piece all-girl band, joined live by guitars and keys. But when it comes to making records, there is a visceral, unflinching approach that only Teddy could capture with her husband, fellow artist and songwriting partner, Willy Moon. After meeting Willy in 2013, Teddy found an inseparable intimacy in their creative chemistry, and the two married just a few months later. And thus, Cruel Youth was born.
Before Cruel Youth, Teddy had a successful solo career under the moniker “Natalia Kills,” releasing 2 albums with Interscope Records. In 2015, Teddy collaborated with Madonna on her #1 album Rebel Heart, and co-wrote Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better” off her world-wide #1 album ANTI. Later that year, she parted ways with Interscope and began making music with Willy Moon, establishing the start of Cruel Youth. In 2016, the band released their debut single, “Mr. Watson,” followed by their debut EP, +30mg, ultimately racking up millions of plays online.
