Alla Xul Elu is comprised of Billy Obey, Joey Black and Lee Carver. This horror-obsessed trio from the midwest display a penchant for the ominous, violent, and the blatantly disgusting.
Rising from Ohio’s underground hip-hop scene, they quickly became notorious for their masked on-stage antics. Some would call it a rap group, others would it a cult. Whatever they’re labeled, they are definitely the next bookmark in the obscure territory of shock rap. The three fuse midwestern hardcore rap influences and macabre death metal imagery. Their discography starts off in 2013 with the LP “Head of Horns”. In 2016 the group released “Sci-Co: Volume 1”. The first single from the LP “The Suffering” and it’s accompanying video were released online to an occult acclaim. Next up was the smoke-filled horror tale EP known as “Necronomichron”. In 2018 the collective garnered the attention of hardcore rap pioneers Twiztid and inked a deal with their imprint Majik Ninja Entertainment. After the signing the group prepared to unveil their first album as a trio, “The Almighty”. The record was the the first project of the trio’s to chart on the Billboard. Seven months later, the A.X.E. release a companion EP to “The Almighty” entitled “Church of Xul”. It was recorded in it’s entirety at their studio, which is a church in Ohio. This lo-fi terror trip grabbed the group their second Billboard position.
