JakLash Cat are a three piece Chester band, with a country rock influence, who write and perform their own songs The line-up consists of Phil "Lash" Blundell on rhythm guitar and vocals, John "Jak" Evans on bass guitar and Steve "Cat" Pyne on lead guitar.
Having been drinking partners for many years, we decided to form a band some time ago, partly inspired by a stranger who approached the three of us in a pub one night and said "You guys have got to be in a band!" So, after many hours of practice and quite a bit of time busking, we're now taking on more indoor gigs and generally promoting the band. We released our first album "Promises and Vows" in April 2019.
