Some Thing for No Thing is the second EP release from Minneapolis natives blinds. The record was a hands-on homage to the lo-fi nature of the early 90’s grunge scene all while using modern influences from Kings of Leon to Interpol.
After a successful debut EP release in December 2015, blinds used their momentum to play several summer festivals, tour the midwest, and record a follow up EP. Their new record, Some Thing for No Thing is set to debut January 24th. The first single, “Pretend Life” premiered on The Current Local Show.
blinds consists of Case Shannon (vocals/guitar) and Malcolm Browne (drums) both former members of The Set, bassist Zach Clark and Dustin Gustafson (lead guitar) — each of whom are decade into the local Minneapolis music scene.
