Lee (Mirabai) is a new age vocalist, healer, yogi, author & teacher who has been on the path of mantrayana (liberation through sound) for decades.
She has sung for His Holiness the 17th Karmapa at Madison Square Garden and for Amma at Amritapuri in India. With a background in classical Indian vocals, rock, gospel & Tibetan medical mantra, Lee sings authentic, high-spirited, deeply healing mantra music combining the wisdom energies of Buddhist mantras with the heart-opening euphoria of the devotional Bhakti tradition. Lee’s debut CD BEYOND THE BEYOND was included on multiple best-of new age music lists, and placed in the top 10 on iTunes world music charts. Known for her warmth, wisdom, humor & profoundly healing voice, Lee leads kirtans & mantra workshops at dharma centers, retreat centers, churches & festivals worldwide. She has been featured at BhaktiFest, ShaktiFest, Sivananda Bahamas, Yogaville, Omega Institute, Kripalu, Karma Triyana Dharmachakra monastery & more. For Lee, singing is not a performance, but rather a truly spiritual, devotional and healing experience for all who attend. She believes that each of us has the power and ability to heal the self—and countless others—with the power of our own unique voices.
