Finding his home in video game music, Cody’s most recent contribution was for Capcom’s “Devil May Cry 5” (2019) and the recreation of “Resident Evil 2” (2019). Johnson first caught Capcom’s attention with his remixes for “Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite”. Ultimately, it was Johnson’s modern production techniques that led him to compose and produce Dante’s new theme “Subhuman” (featuring Michael Barr, previously of band Volumes) for “Devil May Cry 5.”
Cody was again tapped by Capcom to write the end credits song “Saudade (feat. Shim)” for the “Resident Evil 2” remake. Singer Shim (formerly of Sick Puppies) collaborated with Cody on the lyrics and vocals and included a solo performance by guitarist Peter DiStefano (Porno for Pyros).
Released in 2019, Cody’s debut album “Raid Ready” is go-to music for locking sights and crushing enemies. Featuring hard-hitting instruments and anthemic songs, “Raid Ready” is the soundtrack to your gaming experience and has everything you need to log on and settle up.
