Hailing from Los Angeles, Lord & Lady combines the vocal and songwriting talents of Scott Oatley and Rachel Panchal.
As session singers in Hollywood, both have sung for well-known TV/Film projects, including GLEE, The Simpsons, La La Land, SING, and many more.
The two have received high praise for their YouTube hit, "La La Land Medley," which went viral at the end of 2016, garnering over 5 million views. The medley was more recently featured at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games during Russian athletes, Kristina Astakhova and Alexey Rogonov's La La Land-themed free skate performance. Since the release of their medley, they have continued to release covers on Youtube, amassing over 10k YouTube subscribers.
With the release of their debut Lord & Lady - EP in 2015, the duo received many accolades for their original songs, including international recognition by winning the IAMA for Best Group/Duo for their song, "A Little Longer."
Coined "incredible harmonic hipsters" with "soul stirring magic," (The JW Vibe), their most recent single, "The Lift" has been receiving stunning reviews. Randy Radic (Celebmix) said, "The Lift" is "...a breathtaking song, elegant, radiant, and bedazzling."
“The Lift” was a precursor to Lord & Lady's sophomore No Ghost - EP, which stays true to their organic, harmony-driven roots while pushing the boundaries into a more contemporary Alt Pop world.
