“My songs take place in a moment, not an overview,” says recording artist, Crystal Clayton. The Kansas city native is bringing her honest, effervescent vocals on her upcoming EP 3:AM Crystal finds solace in writing music about exactly who, and what, she feels.
“3:AM is about basking in the moment, embrace it because you know it’s not going to last forever.”
Her lead single off the project, “Is It Me?” is about one of those exhilarating moments. “It’s a moment you never want to leave. Having everything going well in your life, all these new achievements happening, and you have someone there who is sharing it with you. You both are on the same wavelength and sharing the adventure together.”
Having released a self-titled EP in 2016, and her follow-up EP “Too Human,” Crystal is finally finding her voice and taking the steps to succeed with 3:AM
“I’ve struggled being a musician with big dreams and aspirations, but I’m also stuck in a place where you can’t go anywhere.” So she decided to take a chance. Leaving Kansas City to Los Angeles, Crystal is committed to making big moves in the music industry. The move is already paying off, as her EP, 3:AM, is produced by Bam Keith of The Grammy Museum.
“I write music for myself, in my own moment. I hope that while listening to this EP people can be in the moment with me, and relate themselves to each song.” Crystal’s music is not to be overlooked ,and with her forthcoming EP she will be sharing many more intimate moments with her fans.
