Man About Town
Visual designer, photographer, filmmaker, writer. Jerry King Musser has created conceptual works since the mid-1970s.
Born in Defiance, Pennsylvania. Grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He's lived and worked in such places as Palo Alto, California; Madison, Wisconsin; Eindhoven, Netherlands; and his present base... a small town in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA. He's won numerous international film awards and graphic design awards. He contends that 'all mediums play in the same sandbox.' His music often supplements his film works. In addition to his own musically-related work, he's designed hundreds of CD album covers for others and has produced music videos for them, as well. His conceptual video works are in permanent collections of contemporary art museums in Europe and South America. His music began in the mid-60s playing in the typical band types of the era (inspired by the British Invasion). Eventually, he arrived at doing audio tracks for his own films. That evolved to some sound design and aural storytelling.
