Big Narstie

Big Narstie is arguably the biggest personality to emerge from the world of grime. While he’s undoubtedly a fireball of warm-hearted humour, that attention masks the complexities of a man who’s already over a decade deep into his music career. 
 Coming after a hefty catalogue of mixtapes and EPs, Big Narstie releases his debut album ‘BDL Bipolar’ on July 6th which pays tribute to his loyal fanbase the BDL (Base Defence League), a collective united by a desire to spread positivity and a new outlook on life. The album features honorary BDL members Ed Sheeran, Craig David, Raleigh Ritchie, Moelogo, Scouse Tremz, Izzie Gibbs and Punjabi MC. 
 Released ahead of his new Channel 4 series The Big Narstie Show, the album covers a spectrum of styles, from bass-heavy bangers full of charismatic rhymes to deeper reflections on love, life and loss. The album reveals the real Big Narstie. 
 Named Best Grime Act at the Urban Music Awards four times; heralded as Noisey’s Man of the Year and Personality of the Year at GRM Daily’s Rated Awards. He has collaborated with Enter Shikari and Robbie Williams. He has delivered incendiary performances at Wireless, Lovebox, Ibiza Rocks, NASS, Eskimo Dance and Truck to name just a few. 
 Big Narstie has been a constant fixture throughout grime’s evolution from an outsider art form to the nation’s biggest cultural phenomenon. Now is the time for Narstie to be recognised on an even greater scale.
