“A Bunch of Meninos”, the band’s seventh album reached number one in Portugal’s charts, Spotify (Portugal) and iTunes (Portugal). The songs “Rumbero” and “Lisboa Mulata” were included in the motion picture “Focus” (2015) by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa featuring Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Rodrigo Santoro. Dead Combo was awarded a Golden Globe in 2015 by the Portuguese audience on “Best Band Category”.
“Odeon Hotel” the band’s latest album was produced by Alain Johannes (PJ Harvey, Queens of The Stone Age, etc) and features Mark Lanegan among others.
