Renowned for his quality in both baroque and contemporary music, Hall appeared in the world premiere of David Bruce’s Nothing as JOHAN for Glyndebourne, and also performed the role of FARINELLI (singing voice) alongside Oscar-winning actor Mark Rylance in the Olivier and Tony Award nominated play Farinelli and the King on Broadway, New York City.
Recent and upcoming projects include a programme of Countertenor Duets with Iestyn Davies and the King's Consort at Wigmore Hall, NARCISO Agrippina Grange Festival, GUILDENSTERN Brett Dean’s Hamlet and GOFFREDO Rinaldo Glyndebourne on Tour, OBERON A Midsummer Night’s Dream Opéra de Montpellier and Deutsche Oper Berlin, MAGO CRISTIANO for Glyndebourne Festival Opera and The English Concert at Carnegie Hall, Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo Opera Royal de Versailles with Sir John Eliot Gardiner, ADALBERTO Ottone Festival de Beaune, ZEPHYRUS Apollo et Hyacinthus Classical Opera, Dido and Aeneas, Fairy Queen, and Handel’s Jephtha Academy of Ancient Music, and First ANGEL/BOY Written on Skin Royal Opera House and the 2019 Venice Biennale.
