Crystal Coast reorganized itself once more by adding keyboardists Corey Jess and Nick Atkins and released a new 6-track album, "II", which showcased more of the electronic side of the band. After a final show in 2017, Cooper went into hiatus to begin development on the 8-track album "Crystal Coast III" which finally released that December. This third installment began blurring the lines between indie rock, electronic, and post-rock. After playing around the Southeast accompanied by Samantha Earley on bass and Lucky Wright on guitar throughout 2018-2019, things started quieting down in 2020 for a number of reasons. This time gave Cooper and the rest of the band the chance to complete this first series of albums with IV, a 7-track album more directed to Indie Rock songwriting.
The future is uncertain, but we plan to keep going with it.
