Based in Los Angeles, CA, The Controversy is a collaborative music project between Laura Vall (lead vocals, keyboards), Thomas Hjorth (guitars, vocals) and Amy White (keyboards, vocals).
Their highly anticipated new single, 'Dirt', was released accompanied by a video, on October 17 2017. The band is collaborating with producers Dave Russell (Lady Gaga, PJ Harvey, Justin Timberlake) and Thomas Ross Johansen (Snoop Dogg, All Saints) for their upcoming album, to be released in 2018.
