His second EP, Repaint, was produced in creative partnership with Nashville’s Neon Cross Music and draws inspiration from many of Ty’s past and present favorites.
The title track represents the changing times in Tyler’s life and career as he “repaints” himself as a performer, defines his brand of country and moves to Nashville to make his mark. The subsequent tracks, tailgating rocker “Ice Cold Memories,” Devin Dawson penned “Hold You to It,” Lucie Silvas-backed “The Night Fire Met Gasoline” and debut single written by Tyler “Truth in the Way,” are influenced by a wide-range of Dial’s musical icons like fellow-Phoenician Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, the Brothers Osborne, Devin Dawson, Little Big Town, Kings of Leon, The Alabama Shakes and Tame Impala.
