Four years ago, Ty adopted his father’s home state of Texas from Phoenix, Arizona. He is currently pursuing a degree from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, with plans to graduate in the spring 2018.
Naturally, with all the great country music heritage that Austin has to offer, Ty is fast becoming an active participant in the live music scene, where he has opened for artists like Cody Johnson, Pat Green, Wade Bowen, Jack Ingram, Cole Swindell, Jake Owen, and more. During his summer breaks and time off, Ty lives in Nashville where he explores his songwriting craft.
Tyler’s work is inspired by established and new artists alike. On one end of the spectrum, his influences range from Garth Brooks, The Rolling Stones, and The Eagles to Sam Hunt, The Brothers Osborne, and Little Big Town on the other.
This year, Tyler looks forward to completing his second album in Nashville and touring selective dates before hitting the road for good in the Summer of 2018, once he’s finally graduated from the University of Texas.
