Collective Music Charity

It all started on March 2020, when Pierre-Etienne Michelin, professional drummer, launched a few bars of a harmonic percussion (The Hand Pan) via a video on his social networks.
He then invited everyone who wanted to send him a short improvised music video based on it.
He will receive nearly 70 videos that he will manage to mix and edit to make a real song and a video clip: "Le Clan Des Confinés". At first, he believes in a huge stroke of luck and then decides to repeat the experience. In two months, these small musical miracles will be repeated five times. Thanks to the magic of the internet, musicians from all over the world began to participate, but also celebrities.
Pierre-Etienne and his daughter, Marilou Michelin, created the association Collectif Confiné Solidaire, which will collect all the profits from each video clip (copyright, youtube revenues, sales and streaming) and donate them to humanitarian associations.
Each time a clip is launched, a partnership is formed with an NGO such as Emmaüs Solidarité, Enfants Du Désert, ATD Quart Monde and the eighth with the Petit Cœur De Beurre association. On December 3rd, the eighth clip "Les Petits Cœurs De Beurre" with Natasha St-Pier and 67 artists was released.
Currently, the production of the ninth clip with Jean-Marc Généreux for the benefit of the French Association Of Rett Syndrome is in progress and from now on, the experience will be accessible to dancers.
