Originating from New Jersey, Echo Black fuses elements of alternative pop, hard rock and electronica into their unique dance-rock sound alongside striking visuals and videos.
Echo Black was brought together by New York City performer Danny Blu in 2015. Establishing an early stance on anti-bully and equality, Blu announced the band's first single and video with industrial-rocker Davey Suicide on Revolver magazine. The band subsequently announced their first tour supporting The Birthday Massacre and Combichrist.
The following year, Echo Black premiered their second single with Telle Smith of The Word Alive on Alt Press magazine. Their music video featuring Telle premiered on Fuse TV later that summer. Collaborating with producer Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, Kesha, Sum 41), the band premiered the single and video, "Chemicals" on Billboard in fall 2016. Soon after, with the help of their fans, the band successfully crowdfunded their first album.
In fall 2017, Echo Black released the single and politically-driven music video, Dawn, off the upcoming album of the same name with producers Axel Otero (Lay Your Ghost) and Walter Kazmier (Mechanical Vampires). The band debuted Dawn on Dark Beauty magazine on Friday October 13th 2017.
