David starts his career in Cologne where, between 2005 and 2012, he works as assistant and sound engineer on numerous recordings for classical music and jazz. Then, he launches his own company in Vienna, specialized in music production and variable acoustics for concert venues.
Under the guidance of Gabriel Yared, he works quickly on prestigious projects. He mutliplies collaborations with established composers like Grégoire Hetzel, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Pierre Adenot..
In 2013 he composes his first short movie 'J'aime beaucoup ta mère' directed by Remy Four & Julien War followed by the US feature film 'Stung' in 2015 directed by Benni Diez. David composes the music for 'Cesar Revelations 2015', a film by Mathieu Cesar. In 2016, he is awarded of Best Orginal Soundtrack at Budapest Film Festival for 'Le Bouquet' directed by Allen & Smithee.
Recently, David has composed original music for 'Pisces' by Cody Fern, ‘One Sunday’ by Zack Spiger and ‘Bilal’ by Benjamin Chimoy, as well as additional music for 'Si tu voyais son cœur' by Joan Chemla, 'The death and life of John F. Donovan' by Xavier Dolan, 'The Happy Prince' by Ruppert Everett
