Ana María Ruimonte, formally Ana María Díaz, currently lives in Phoenix though she was born and lived until recently in Madrid.
She studied at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música and then obtained in 2006 her Bachelor’s Degree in Music as a classical singer at Spain’s leading vocal conservatory, the Escuela Superior de Canto, then continued her studies in Nuremberg (Germany), Philadelphia and New York. Classical singer and president of Owlsong Productions, working as a Cultural Manager and interpreter. She travels frequently to Cuba where she develops a series of projects of classical music in collaboration with Cuban musicians, specially with the maestro Huberal Herrera. Her cultural range is ample, from music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras through opera, zarzuela and concert arias and art songs. With a beautiful voice, elegant presence and unending creativity, in the last 7 years Ana María has travelled and performed in Spain, Israel, the United States and Cuba, and before that, in France, Italy, Germany and Austria. Ana María Ruimonte’s mission is to bring to wider audiences the classical vocal music, specially Spanish language pieces, to the world, with a special focused on the US and Latin America.
