the hip-hop game with polyrhythmic flows that align with #blacklivesmatter,
intersectional feminism and the difficulties of growing up in NYC. After being a
member of an advanced Poetry/Performance program where they were
mentored by Pharoahe Monch, Rosie Perez and DMC, they were booked twice
as a spoken word artist for The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway and, were featured
on ABC’s the View.
Billy’s nomadic lifestyle and natural ability to bridge genres has allowed them
to perform with musicians across the country over a range of styles from punk,
grime to classical and trap music.They have just completed their first debut
project titled “Rocky Barboa” were featured on WBUR's Up Next and have performed at festivals and museums such as Grand Point North, Harlem Arts Festival, The Isabella Stewart Gardner, The Brooklyn Museum and The MFA.
