Born in Ventura, California Jordan Frye grew up surfing, skateboarding, and listening to indie-rock. Frye was immersed music at a young age, and began writing his own songs when he was 10 years old.
For the past ten years Frye has worked behind the scenes in pop, television, and film - writing and producing song placements for So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol, and Fox’s Empire. Making his 2018 debut, this indie-pop songwriter is stepping out as an artist. Frye is known to write a song a day, and each single released this year so far is tinged with transparency and vulnerability. From the free-spirited anthem of “Skyrockets”, to the acoustic synth-pop of ”Sticks & Stones” Frye is painting the world with brand new colors and finally letting listeners in the door of his more internal life living in Los Angeles.
