After moving to London to study at Central Saint Martins, a chance A&R encounter led to his first songwriting session (with Mutya Keisha Siobhan). A publishing deal and his first single, Indiana, soon followed. Produced by MNEK, the song was an instant indie hit, praised by Pitchfork and Popjustice.
Tom’s next foray into music was unexpected. His ‘Revelation’ mixtape, a 25-minute continuous mix of demos, interludes and ideas, premiered on Billboard. It received acclaim from The FADER, Line of Best Fit and Clash - with the GRADES assisted Good Together chosen as Zane Lowe’s ‘Next Hype’.
Aspaul has since lent his distinctive, soulful voice to several eclectic songs, racking up millions of streams in the process. From the Popjustice £20 Music Prize nominated Do It Well (feat. Tom Aspaul), to uber-cool Joe Hertz' Night / Daze EP, Tom’s vocals continue to be in high demand.
