    Can't Breathe
EEVAH vocalist and co-writer Nicole Hope Smith began 2017 in London, bunnyhopping between songwriting and recording sessions around the capital.
After working with respected writers and producers who worked with the likes of Aluna George, Nothing but Thieves, Clean Bandit, Charlie XCX, it wasn't until Nicole headed further North to work with writers in Leeds and master the Northern accent, that things started to take shape. After landing a writing session with Richard McNamara at Magnetic North Studios the duo continued to work on Nicole's vision of pitching songs to other artists.
Nicole: "Our tracks were never quite 'POP' enough you could say, and a little to dark in places. We thought we would start pleasing ourselves from that point onwards by releasing songs that we just loved! This triggered the birth of EEVAH......"
Rick: “Our first single 'Can't Breathe' was firstly influenced by Deadmau5. When we write together and get an idea going we always reference it to a band or artist that we like.
We have been described as 'like' being in the centre of a festival where you can here echoes of The Cocteau Twins, NAO, Lana Del Rey and Deadmau5.”
