Sienná is an on-the-rise songwriter, producer, DJ / live-act and experimental music sensation. As a Japanese expatriate in Norway and live-electronic artist who has performed across Europe over 10 years, Sienná not only acts as a unique innovator; but also fearlessly brings ‘no rules’ approach to creating improvisational mixes through a command of the avant-garde genre consisting of electronica, house, jazz, and traditional-contemporary Japanese.
In a refreshing twist, sonically ambitious DJ and artist Sienná is rebelling against the copycat music trend and quickly emerging as an artistic medium, who can transcend the label of “commodity” and become something much more sophisticated and immersive. Sienná knows how to lead you down the most wildly unexplored terrain of sonic-landscapes.
Sienná is known for collaborations with renowned artists including Nils Petter Molvaer, a psychedelic jazz trumpeter from Norway, Mick Karn, a deceased English bassist, and The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, where Sienná performed as an opening act to the band in the UK on several occasions.
