Name the Pet is a Stockholm based producer/songwriter. In 2019, she released her third full length album ‘Än’.
“You know when a car passes in London and you hear a really nice beat playing from the open car window, that’s the vibe I was going for with ‘Radion lovar regn’”, says Name the Pet refering to the first song on the album. The song’s UK garage inspired beat is combined with warm strings and Name the Pet’s soothing voice, singing us a melody that almost sounds like a Swedish lullaby.
The latest album is written and produced by Name the Pet and co-produced by Linn Fijal from legendary studio Riksmixningsverket.
