YANKTON is... Tom Yankton on lead vocals, guitar, keys, harmonica, talk box, power drill, and assorted other instruments, CJ Wilder on bass, keys, and vocals, and Eddie Bell on drums and vocals.
The story of YANKTON starts in working class families and trailer homes in the red clay hills of Arkansas. Tom started playing in a Pentecostal Church at seven years old and learned to jam out on multiple instruments with the local players of country, gospel, and bluegrass, while also dabbling in rock and roll. CJ spent his childhood years between Half Moon, Arkansas and Bakersfield, California, and grew up playing music with his dad, eventually learning to play every instrument on stage at a professional level. Eddie, a Tennessee native and 2nd generation musician with an incredible resume of playing with major artists and a rock background joined in 2016, and the band was complete. With a blend of country, gospel, and rock backgrounds and influenced by artists ranging from Merle Haggard to Motley Crüe, these three musicians/songwriters/entertainers bring it all to the table for some eclectic original country music along with an epically entertaining stage show. YANKTON has also recently been featured on Spotify’s 'Country Rocks' playlist with the band's music logging over half a million streams on the platform with even more new music on the way set to release later this year.
