Tieran is a witty and unconventional rapper, songwriter, and producer based in Columbus, Ohio. His commitment to giving a roaring voice to the parts of life most people keep under wraps is a driving force for his music.
He began to explore his lyricism after he was violently attacked at his hometown skate park — a place he found solace. That experience led to a range of emotions from anger to depression and uncertainty that he sought to contain, ultimately using rapping as an outlet for his fury. He was first introduced to the music scene through his parents who were traveling music lovers and often included him in performances with the hardcore punk band H2O, thus playing a major role in the molding of his artistry. With his genre-bending songs, Tieran exposes chapters of his life that have long term effects on his mental and emotional health like romantic relationships and the aforementioned attack. His EP “Never Had A Choice” and his debut album “Deep End” is clear imagery of his personal struggles, and his upcoming sophomore album will give you yet another look at the vulnerable and raw part of Tieran’s world.
