Growing up in the south of Germany Matt started to take music lessons at the age of seven. First piano, later also guitar and vocal lessons.
Being able to play a few chords on his guitar made him want to write songs, too. After graduating from highschool he lived in Jerusalem for a year and worked in a hospital. Since he loved music he wanted to be able to record and work with music so he studied Audio Engineering in Stuttgart. Right after he spend six months in Nashville, TN interning at a recording studio. Over there he made a lot of new friends and got some more into songwriting. Most of the songs on his debut record "Don't let them fool ya" were written with friends from Nashville.
