The KMB was formed in 2013 when singer, Kevin McCoy placed an ad looking to start a band and guitarist Lee Dixon responded. Dixon already had drummer Caleb Campbell on board. Their combined styles is part of what makes their sound so unique. The addition of bassist Brad Bellamy and keyboardist Daniel Lucas rounds out the band’s sound and further solidifies their presence in the local music scene and beyond.
In 2016 KMB released their debut album, Redneck-N-Roll. All 10 original tracks from the melodic “She’s Gone” to the in your face “Our Town”, perfectly showcases the band's style and talent.
The KMB is proud to announce that they are the 2019 Nash Next Cincinnati grand prize winner. They have also had the honor of being nominated for the Josie Music Awards, Independent Artist Group of the Year in 2017 and 2018.
The KMB really loves what they do – to quote their song “Home”, and they are looking forward to sharing the love with more fans in bigger venues all over the world. The KMB performs three to four nights a week and is currently writing songs and recording their next EP.
