Arizona via Cape Cod artist Nic Pool first debuted in 2018 with breakout single "The Falls" which included remixes from JD Samson (Le Tigre) and Daniel D'artiste (Jaden, WILLOW).
His early tracks earned support from Billboard ("a vocal force"), The Line Of Best Fit ("a devout offering"), FLAUNT ("intergalactic nostalgia"), and EARMILK ("electro-ominous"), as well as playlist adds from Spotify (In Electric Dreams/Club Resistance, Fresh Finds: Index/Fresh Finds Indie), Amazon Music (Fresh Indie, Introducing Indie), i-D (Best New Music) and Hype Machine (Popular). Pool released his self-titled debut EP in October, which was co-written and produced by his partner Emmy Wildwood at their home studio in Tucson. The set includes "Punk Rock & Ice Cream” ("moody soulful electronica," Complex UK) and "R.K.F." aka #RichKidFuckery which has racked up 50K streams on YouTube. Pool is the former frontman of NYC pop-rock trio Twin Wave, whose 2016 single "Matador" reached the top 50 on both Spotify's US and global viral 50 charts and earned features on Vice's Noisey, Playboy.com, USA Today and EW.
