From the leafy London suburbs, singer/ songwriter/ producer BROOKFIELD discovered his penchant for songwriting at the tender age of 12 when he found his way playing through the London circuit with various outfits (when he wasn’t kicked out for being underage).
From age 17 old he worked in a myriad of London studios supporting Walking On Cars, RHODES, London Grammar and Vancouver Sleep Clinic - all whilst developing a set of songs which would later become the Cloud 9 EP.
The self- produced debut was warmly welcomed by the online community, charting on Hype Machine. Supported by summer shows at Somerset House and The Social, he quickly took to following up the first success.
BROOKFIELD’s second release took the shape of ‘Kaleidoscope’. Released in March 2016, the single saw himself compared to the likes of Amber Run, Coldplay and Colouring.
2 months later, ‘Seas Of Gold’ was released. Sharing the same Casey Roarty- designed (Oh Wonder etc.) artwork as Kaleidoscope, the sonic landscape became a cocktail of ‘Lana Del Rey, Bon Iver and Daughter on steroids’.
After a US tour in summer 2017, November saw the release of new single 'Something Good (Hold On). Recorded in LA, it sees a new venture into BROOKFIELD's evolving production style and writing skills.
BROOKFIELD writes, performs and produces for a number of artists. This has seen him share lineups with contemporaries Cape Cub, Kyko, Dagny and XY&O, to name a few. His work has accumulated over 3,000,000 streams online.
