Sitka Sun is the music of bassist & composer Patrick Murphy. Rooted in Oakland, California, the music draws inspiration from African and Caribbean rhythms - filtered through the lens of Murphy's American blues, jazz, and soul upbringing.
Blending both acoustic and electronic sounds, the psychedelic soundscapes are recommended for long drives, contemplative days, and exploring the wilderness of the mind. This debut record has come to fruition with Long Road Society record label, based in Oakland, California.
