St. Louis, MO based pop-punks Pure October formed in late 2015 as the result of an encounter at a high-school talent show between singer and guitarist Alex Edith and bassist Spencer Peck.
After recruiting Alex's show choir partner Tom Gederman to play drums, they created and self-released their first EP, Just a Taste, in late 2016. Influenced by bands like A Day To Remember, Green Day, Neck Deep and Pierce The Veil, the group went on to release their debut record, The Gullible Guide to Getting By, which chronicles the weird quirks and struggles surrounding their times in high school.
By combining the unique and catchy melodies of pop music along with the sheer energy and aggression of rock and metalcore music, Pure October has been able to provide audiences with an exciting, rowdy and unforgettable live-concert experience.
Pure October's latest single Sunny Side Up released on April 4th, 2018 as another installment to their 'one song a month' campaign to give back to their fans. "It's all about when life just goes downhill and you have to put on a mask and roll with the punches" says singer Alex Edith.
