Eli V broke out fast into the Southern California country music circuit in 2014 as the “California kid," who just by looking at him, would never know to play a country tune is his life”.
What started off as good fun, covering and making videos of old Keith Urban songs on YouTube, turned into something much bigger for this guitar shredding west coast boy. After racking up over 150,000 YouTube plays on one of his cover videos, Eli V thought that maybe it was his time to record some original tunes of his own. By April of 2015, Eli V had digitally released his first EP entitled “All About You” which gained him regional success and landed him direct support appearances for acts like Diamond Rio, Josh Turner, Thompson Square, Frankie Ballard, and Eli Young Band as well as a side stage slot at Arizona’s Country Thunder Music Festival and a main stage slot at the Oakheart Country Music Festival along side artists such as Luke Bryan, Big & Rich, Joe Nichols, Easton Corbin and Cassadee Pope. In 2017, Eli V will have separated himself even more from the local country music scene with the release of his single “Don’t Wanna Leave” which gained him California Country Music Award nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year, mixing sounds of traditional pedal steel while staying true to his driving guitar leads and west coast smoothness.
