Jordan Sudak (also known as the alternative-electronic artist Koda) has never known a true home.
Growing up a military brat, he would live in three countries by the age of fifteen.

With this shift in residence came a shift in ideology, his parents abandoning their free spirits for Christian Fundamentalism. Once a deeply-creative family, secular art would be banned or burned, as in the case of Jordan’s “Harry Potter” books.

Upon settling in South Carolina, things took an abrupt turn after Jordan’s father nearly lost his life to a heart attack. With new perspective, his parents launched a death metal duo and successfully auditioned their son as the frontman of a popular and touring experimental rock group.

During this time, Koda was created as a way for Jordan to experiment with the cinematic production, icy falsetto, and folk-driven songwriting for which he would gain his initial acclaim.

After scoring a video of the largest photo ever taken of the Andromeda Galaxy by NASA, Koda quickly saw support in the form of millions of views on YouTube, calls from music supervisors, and humbling comparisons to Thom Yorke, Sigur Rós, and Jeff Buckley.
Having spent three years working on his debut LP 'i hope this makes us better' (Fall 2018), Koda has decidedly evolved, embracing a tapestry of alternative, electronic, psyche rock, indie rock, and post-punk while growing buzz for his powerful live performances which draw comparisons to The Mars Volta. and Massive Attack.
