Two years ago, 23-year-old Kyan Palmer (PRONOUNCED KEY-ON) packed his bags and moved from Arizona to New York City to begin working at a record label. The cross-country trek may be a familiar tale, but Palmer had no intentions of being in the spotlight.
A music class college project led Palmer to roll the dice and write, record and distribute his first single, "Burn Mona Lisa." Almost overnight the R&B ballad started to climb the US, Canadian and Singaporean Spotify Viral Top 50 Charts. Palmer followed his debut single with "Hidden Feelings," "Make It Up," & "Somebody Else" which led to his debut EP rightfully titled "Burn Mona Lisa" and he continues to organically racked up streams.
Now relocated to LA, Palmer provides his listeners with a fresh take on pop with his airy vocals combined with smooth genuine R&B beats and metaphoric lyrics. Palmer may be new to the scene, but he is certainly one to watch.
