A bucket of paint, a loss of inhibition, and relinquishment of control over any outcome brought Andrey Psychè his understanding of music, composition, storytelling, and emotion.
From the first abstract painting that conjured itself in front of his eyes, an alluring glow emanated from the tiny speckles of dried paint that whispered into his ear, telling him to look deeper. It was this search for depth, this immersion into a world of diminutive details that led him to take up the mightiest weapons known to mankind. The mighty pen.
After following the breadcrumbs into a world of floating words, learning to distinguish between one's own thoughts and beliefs, pleasures and pains, then intertwining them with sounds that tear open the skin, allowing the heart to bleed through, brought him to a significant moment in his life. A moment of weakness. A moment of utter despair. A moment when his words could not relieve the pressure building up around him. In a frantic cry for help, a guitar that stood quietly in the corner of the room for decades, let out a deafening roar, capturing Psychè's attention. He grabbed it, vigorous strumming while crying out into the empty abyss just above his head, he finally experienced catharsis. From that day, music became an obsession.
Carrying with him the same magnifying glass that allowed him to get engulfed in painting and writing, he applied the same principles to listening and creating music. Music became the unifying force in his life..........
