Complemented by long-time collaborator Tom Larkin (Shihad etc) and mixed by the legendary LA stalwart Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons, The 1975), ‘Dreams’ marks a turning point for Villainy and sounds like nothing you’ve heard from the band before.
‘Dreams’ follows the dystopian bangers ‘Tiny Little Island’, ‘IFXS’ and ‘Raised In The Dark’, and is the next track to be heard from Villainy’s hotly awaited forthcoming LP release which lands this July.
Since arriving in 2011 with NZ rock game-changer ‘Alligator Skin’ Villainy have been redefining what’s possible with rock in New Zealand. Both albums ‘Mode. Set. Clear’ and ‘Dead Sight’ have won NZ Music Awards for Best Rock Album, they have appeared at countless festivals as well as being hand-picked to open for AC/DC during their New Zealand stadium tour.
