Equally influenced by electro and progressive house as well as techno and electronica, Steve’s music draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists including Jeremy Olander, Kolsch, Stephan Bodzin, Jon Hopkins and Alex Metric. His arrangements blend classical composition with contemporary production, often dovetailing the emotive with the uplifting, combining driving basslines and soaring leads.
His music has been used on Worldwide syncs, including the soundtrack to “Trip”, a short film by the infamous Falquet Brothers, world renowned free-skiers and pioneering video creators celebrating art and sport in unison.
Embedded in London’s underground dance scene as the co-founder of Hijacker Records, Steve is also part of the “Adventures” collective, running a quarterly night in Deptford Cinema where visual projections provide the backdrop to experimental DJ sets and electronic artists.
An ambassador for unearthing and developing talent, Steve set up Hijacker Records as a home to support new artists. After two years in the studio, Steve will finally see the release of his debut album ‘Alias’ in 2019.
