Born in Italy, Inanna's music trajectory started in her hometown near Venice and continued in Barcelona, where she moved in 2006. Lead singer of several bands in both Italy and Spain, Inanna begins her solo career in 2011, under the name "Anna.lee". Alongside her music projects, Inanna cultivates her passion for bellydance and Middle Eastern music, becoming an instructor of both bellydance and tribal fusion in Spain.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2018, her love for dark alternative music and Middle Eastern atmospheres, accompanied by her advocacy for nature and animal rights, brought her to create Inanna, a contemporary embodiment of the Sumerian goddess of the cycles of nature.
In her unique and genre-bending eco-pop sound, the interactions between humans, technology, animals and nature are being witnessed and given a voice, bringing hope for possible futures on Earth.
Inanna's music is a modern cathartic incantation, the chant of a cyber-priestess standing between nature and culture, light & dark, old & new, feminine & masculine, body and mind.
If nature had a voice, what would she sing?
